The rum is aged for years in barrels previously used for maturing American bourbon, before being transferred and “double aged” in fresh Irish whiskey barrels. This gives Havana Club Añejo Especial its smooth, balanced flavour and soft vanilla notes, enhancing the Cuba Libre experience.
