Fresh citrusy German hops (dried lemon, light orange). Some toasty Pilsner malts. A fresh bread aroma from the grain and unfiltered yeast. Golden in colour. Light haziness as it’s unfiltered. Lasting bright white foam. Explain that leaving our beer unfiltered retains maximum flavour and body, without needing the alcohol.

The winery is energy neutral, producing energy from their Biogas plant and a Photovoltaic system which produces more energy than is required. The grapes are pressed and the must is fermented in stainless steel tank with selected yeasts for 15 to 25 days at controlled temperatures which get warmer the nearer they get to the end of fermentation. There is no malolactic fermentation but the wine benefits from 8 weeks of lees contact. Gentle fining and cold stabilisation. Abundant white peach, apricot compôte and white floral notes leap from the glass, with juicy ripe fruit on the palate and beautifully clean, precise acidity through to the finish.

A versatile and immensely appealing Riesling, which pairs well with pasta, roast chicken, seabass or fresh asparagus.
