Other than the name suggests, the blackberry isn’t black at all. In fact, it’s not even a berry. The ‘berry’ is a composition of dark purple drupelets. A bunch of mini berries, if you like. However misleading the name, it’s one of the tastiest fruits to work with. For this liqueur we’ve selected the best ones, adding sugar, eau de-vie and elderberry to bring out the full-bodied blackberry taste.
