The Wimbledon Brewery started production of cask and keg ales from its 30 barrel brewery in SW19 in June 2015, 125 years since beer was last brewed in Wimbledon.

Our Master Brewer is Derek Prentice, who has been brewing wonderful beer since the 1960’s, at Truman’s, Young’s and Fuller’s. Derek recently received the SIBA lifetime achievement award for brewing and was named Brewer’s Brewer of the year 2013. The Wimbledon Brewery has a long and interesting history. The original brewery was established in 1832 in Wimbledon High Street and stood where the old fire station is today. It produced beer until 1889, when its 5-storey tower brewery burned down.
